Jetour Auto PH expands PHEV lineup with the T1 Lightning i-DM, priced at Php 1.898M

Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI), now under the management of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), is really going big on plug-in hybrids (PHEV) as it brings in the T1 Lightning i-DM.
Known as the Shanhai T1 in China, the Jetour T1 was first introduced in 2024 as the brand’s more rugged compact crossover offering, and is the brand’s fourth PHEV offering in our market after the Dashing, X70, and T2.

And rugged it definitely looks with its upright front fascia that houses a rectangular front grille with an integrated light strip, and flanked by full LED headlights. Its bumpers and fender flares are finished in a matte black plastic material, and it rides on 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

Five exterior paint job options are available: Electroplated Green, Night Black, Sand Gold, Khaki White, and Silver Snow, while other standard exterior features include roof rails, a power tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and running boards.

The interior of the T1 is basically a shrunken version of the T2’s cabin with its dashboard composed of mostly straight lines. A 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) dominates the center stack, along with some piano key-style buttons, and a grab handle for the front passenger.

Standard interior features include leather seats, ventilated and power-adjust front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a nine-speaker Sony audio system, an electronic gear selector, and a wireless phone charger.

Powering the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 156 horsepower and 220Nm of torque, paired to an electric motor that produces 204 horsepower and 310Nm. The system is mated to a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).

With a 26.7 kWh LFP battery, it is capable of driving on pure electricity up to 117km on a single charge, and over 1,000km on a combined full charge and tank of gas.
Through 7kW AC charging, it will take about four hours from 30% to 80%, while CCS2 DC charging will take 30 minutes from 30% to 80%.

As for safety, a suite of advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS) is included. That includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, front collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear collision warning, rear cross traffic alert, and open door warning.

Now you’re probably wondering how much this all goes for. The Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM is priced at Php 1,898,000 (introductory price of Php 1,798,000) and is now available at all Jetour Auto dealerships nationwide. Buyers will also be able to take advantage of a six-year or 1,000,000km general vehicle warranty (whichever comes first), a 10-year engine warranty, and an eight-year or 150,000km battery warranty (whichever comes first).
