JMC PH will expand its lineup with electrified vehicles

JMC Philippines is one of those Chinese car automakers that was introduced to the market last year and distributed by Astara.
Currently, the automaker’s lineup consists of two pickup trucks, the Grand Avenue and Vigus, both of which utilize diesel engines. Great for utility, but not so great for being eco-friendly.
This is why the automaker has announced that it will be expanding its new lineup by introducing new EVs in the coming months. Though the automaker is quite mum on what they’ll be bringing in, one can guess by taking a peek at its global website.

Under the JMEV brand, it has two vehicles. First is the EV3, a subcompact hatchback that uses a single electric motor with 48 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque, and up to 302km of range from a 31.2kWh battery.

Second is the ELight sedan, which has a single front-mounted electric motor with 147 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque, with up to 500km of range from a 63kWh battery.

The third is the Grand Avenue EV, which its website has now been taken down unfortunately (but is still accessible via the Wayback Machine). It has an electric motor developed with Bosch capable of 244 horsepower and 385Nm of torque and has an 88.02kWh battery capable of driving up to 423km on a single charge.
Regardless, our guesses are as good as yours, so we can only know about what the automaker will bring in soon. Perhaps at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show?
