The Kia Sonet K-Style Edition won’t be out of place on Seoul’s black and silver car-filled streets

We already know that the Kia Sonet is the Korean automaker’s most popular offering locally, taking up a sizable 76% chunk of the company’s sales in the first half of this year.

And while the Kia brand is full-on Korean, nothing changes the fact that the Sonet is Indian in its roots, and built in China for our market. Hence, for a limited time, Kia Philippines is offering a special K-Style Edition variant to spice up their entry-level subcompact crossover with a dose of Korean style.

Based on the top-spec 1.5 SX IVT trim, the Sonet K-Style Edition gets two exterior paint job options, Aurora Black and Sparkling Silver, colors which certainly won’t look out of place in Seoul’s black and silver car-filled streets.

These colors are matched with contrasting 10-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels and decals on the doors and C-pillars (silver on black, black on silver). Finishing off the changes is a K-Style Edition decal on the C-pillar, letting everyone know that you got a special variant.

Other stuff remain the same such as its 1.5-liter engine making 115 horsepower and 144Nm of torque, its two-tone black and brown interior color scheme, features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver-assist systems, and power sunroof, among others.

The best part is that the upgrades come at no extra cost. As such, the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition is priced at Php 1,158,000 just like the 1.5 SX IVT variant. If you want one though, you’ll have to hurry as it will only be available in a limited quantity of 150 units.

Is the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition Korean enough for you?
