Kia PH showcases capabilities of K2500 LCV
Right after introducing its new identity and with the opening of its new Alabang dealership, Kia Philippines now sets its eyes on making headlines with its light commercial vehicle, the Kia K2500.
Specially-made to serve as a business tool for entrepreneurs, companies, and corporate groups. The Kia K2500 aims to tick all the right boxes by offering practical and functional features. In addition, it’s the only commercial vehicle in its segment that offers a 4×4 variant.
Perhaps the biggest strength of the K2500 is its customizability. It’s available in different body configurations: Double Cab Dropside, Single Cab Dropside, Kargo, Karga, Closed Van, and Cab & Chassis.
The K2500 Durability Drive
Kia Philippines also invited various media and content creators for a media drive, featuring the Kia K2500. This was to fully test out the capabilities of the light commercial vehicle. We were also invited but sadly couldn’t make it due to prior commitments.
The journey started with a road trip from Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig to The General’s Farm in Batangas, a test-drive site with a wide array of challenging terrain. Upon reaching this destination, a driving course awaits the K2500s and the drivers behind the wheel. Rough terrain, challenging maneuvers, tough situations, and more need to be conquered.
Before starting with the course, walkthroughs showcasing the cargo space plus the specs and features that make K2500 perfect for business. After these highly informative sessions, the real test begins. An opportunity for the participants to experience the 4×2 and 4×4 variants of the K2500 on different road conditions.
Two separate courses were prepared for the 4×2 and 4×4 variants. For the 4×4 course, a tougher terrain with tight slippery corners and side slopes awaits. To top it all, the 4x4s are loaded with cargo. Something that proves the vehicle’s capability to deliver, wherever and whenever it’s needed. After conquering the challenges, the K2500s return back to BGC through the uphill and downhill routes passing by Tagaytay.
The K2500 Media Drive was a 5-day event starting on November 22 up to November 26, 2021. Different participants each day experience the commercial usage to provide owners and users with various perspectives about this light commercial vehicle.
