Kia’s sales in PH grows by 71% in first half of 2025

Things are looking good for Kia Philippines, under the distributorship of ACMobility, as it reports a big boost in sales for the first half of 2025.
The Korean automaker was able to sell a total of 4,195 units in the Philippines from January to June 2025. This marks a 71% increase compared to the same period in 2024, and is attributed to its widened lineup and The Kia Movement activities.
Sales are currently led by the brand’s bestselling Sonet subcompact crossover with 3,171 units sold, cornering a whopping 76% of the brand’s sales in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, the Sorento midsize hybrid crossover saw triple-digit sales growth from the same period last year, but with no exact figure shared to us.
“Our strong first-half performance shows that more Filipinos are choosing Kia for its smart design, everyday reliability, and growing range of options. This momentum reflects our ability to connect with a new generation of drivers who value both innovation and practicality, especially through The Kia Movement” said Kia Philippines Managing Director Jay Lopez.
With the first half of the year completed, Kia Philippines says that we can expect them to continue expanding its lineup and advance its electrification efforts in our market.
