Kia Stonic gets more style at Php 895K

While the launch of Kia Philippines’ new brand identity was made very much special by the introduction of the all-new 4th generation Sorento midsize SUV, alongside that and not to be overshadowed is a new variant for the brand’s entry-level subcompact crossover. Meet the Kia Stonic Style Edition.

The Stonic easily became one of Kia’s best selling models in the Philippines ever since it was launched last year. The Style Edition is based on the 1.4 LX A/T variant and adds a few accessories over the standard model and also wears the latest Kia logo.

Versus the standard Stonic 1.4 LX, the Stonic Style Edition gets a front skirt with red accents, side skirt with silver accent, blacked-out alloy wheels, and rear skirt with faux exhaust tips and silver accent. It also gets a Style Edition badge on the tailgate.

Other than that, it still gets the same standard features as every other Stonic 1.4 LX such as projector-type halogen headlights, halogen fog lights, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6-speaker audio system, and reverse camera.

It also remains mechanically the same under the hood with a 1.4 L Inline-4 naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 100 hp and 132 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Kia Stonic Style Edition will be available at Kia dealerships by the fourth week of November. It is priced at Php 895,000, between the 1.4 LX A/T and 1.4 EX A/T.
