Kia teases the EV4 before its unveiling

Recently, we wrote about how Kia would be unveiling three new electric vehicles at its upcoming EV Day, with one of them being the all-new, all-electric EV4.
What we didn’t expect is that the automaker would be releasing the full exterior design of the vehicle ahead of time, also bearing a few more details about the vehicle.

Interestingly, it will come in two form factors: a sedan and a hatchback. This is the latest implementation of the brand’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, where strong, sharp lines, and bold design set it apart from other cars.
Common design elements include the EV Tiger Face, a low hood, sleek, sharp vertical lights both front and back, blocky fenders, unique two-tone, four-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels that carry a square motif, and a roof spoiler on both variants.

Where things change up is in the rear ends: the sedan gets a fastback rear end with a longtail design, while the hatchback has a more traditional rear hatch design. The GT Line trim is also present, changing up the matte black trim to gloss black, giving the bumpers wing-shaped designs, and the alloy wheels get sporty triangular wheel designs.
Kia’s EV Day will take place on February 24, but the automaker will reveal the full details of the car on February 27.
