Leaked images of facelifted BMW 5-Series surface online

What do you think?

Images of what could be the updated 2021 BMW 5-Series have surfaced online. The images were uploaded on the BMW Blog website. They show that the refreshed midsize luxury sedan will be sharper, sportier, and more modern than the model it will replace.

As these are leaked images, we cannot guarantee their authenticity but they look pretty legit to us.

Up front, the updated 5-Series will get updates to keep it in line with the brand’s current design language which can be seen on the current generation G20 3-Series. The signature kidney grille has been updated with sharper outer edges and slats. They are also now connected to each other just like in the 3-Series. The LED headlights are now sleeker and slimmer just like in the 3-Series as well.

The rear on the other hand also received enhancements, particularly on the taillights. The LED taillights are more modern and slightly darker just like in the 3-Series.

There are no leaked images yet of the interior but we could expect some minor updates to trim and other parts as well.

The new 2021 BMW 5-Series is expected to be unveiled soon. The current pre-facelift model is offered in the Philippines with four different variants with prices ranging from less than Php 5,000,000 and topping up at just below Php 15,000,000.
