Honda Winner X launched in PH with Php 123.9K starting price

After being spotted by a content creator on the infamous Marilaque last December 2023, Honda Philippines, Inc. has finally launched the very much-awaited and anticipated Honda Winner X at the SM Southmall.

At first glance, the Honda Winner X looks like a Honda Supra GT-R but with a wider and sporty-looking design. In front you get twin-led headlights, daytime running lights, and turning indicators located on the side fairings. There’s also a sporty-looking pillion handlebar.

For dimensions, the Honda Winner X has a ground clearance of 151 mm, length of 2,019 mm, 727 mm of width, and 1,104 mm of height. As for the saddle height it’s around 795mm which is perfect for the average height of Filipinos. All in all, the weight sums up to 122 kg or 124 kg for the ABS variant. You also get 90/80-17M/C 46P tires for your front wheel and 120/70-17M/C 58P for the rear.

The 2024 Honda Winner X is available in three different variants: Standard, ABS Premium, and ABS Racing. The Premium and Racing come equipped with single channel ABS, while the Standard misses out on this. Colors available for the Winner X are Infinity Red or Pearl Iceberg White for the Standard, Matte Meteoric Red Metallic or Matte Galaxy Black Metallic for the ABS Premium variant, and Infinity Red for the ABS Racing variant.

All variants come equipped with standard full LED lighting, telescopic shocks in front, monoshocks at the rear, a fully digital instrument cluster, a USB type-A charging port, and a smart keyless system. As their name suggests, ABS Premium and ABS Racing variants come with anti-lock brakes.

Powering the Honda Winner X is a 149.2cc single cylinder DOHC four-stroke liquid cooled engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This produces 15.4 horsepower and 13.5 Nm of torque with a compression ratio of 11.3:1. Honda also equipped the transmission with a new two-way anti-slip clutch, better known as Assist & Slipper Clutch.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the Honda Winner X has a tank capacity of 4.5 liters with a claimed fuel economy of 50.5 km/l. Honda says this is thanks to a new and improved coil system and optimal friction reduction technology.

Pricing starts at Php 123,900 for the Standard variant, going up to Php 129,900 for the ABS Premium, and tops-out at Php 131,900 for the ABS Racing.
