Mercedes-Benz PH electrifies the GLC for Php 4.890M

Mercedes-Benz Philippines is no stranger to electrification, having introduced its full-electric EQ lineup in late 2023.

Now, it is introducing plug-in hybrid models to help bolster its offerings and give the customer more choices, starting with the E-Class PHEV and GLC PHEV.

The GLC 350e PHEV costs Php 4,890,000, and is available in three colors: Polar White, Verde Silver, and Graphite Gray.

It comes with the Avantgarde exterior package, featuring a lot of chrome and aluminum accents, and 19-inch twin-spoke light alloy wheels.

It has a portrait 11.9-inch infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charger, ambient lighting, and an off-road mode with the transparent bonnet feature, alongside a suite of safety and select driver assistance systems (but no adaptive cruise control).

The spacious cabin is upholstered in Artico leather, with chrome and silver-gray trim accents. It’s capable of carrying up to 1,530L of cargo (470L with the seats up), and it comes with heated front seats.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain mates a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and a 25.28kWh battery, capable of driving up to 100km on electric power alone. It has a combined power output of 204 horsepower and 320Nm, and benefits from 4Matic all-wheel drive.

Like the E-Class PHEV, it has a Type 2 AC charging port capable of charging up to 11kW, and has an included charging cable and 7kW wall box charger.
