Mercedes-Benz PH introduces the E-Class PHEV for Php 5.490M

Mercedes-Benz Philippines is no stranger to electrification, having introduced its full-electric EQ lineup in late 2023.

Now, it is introducing plug-in hybrid models to help bolster its offerings and give the customer more choices, starting with the E-Class PHEV and GLC PHEV.

The E 350e is a familiar nameplate for traditional European sedan fans, now electrified with Mercedes’ EQ Hybrid technology. It retails for Php 5,490,000.

It brings a recognizable, traditional three-box silhouette, with the Exclusive design package that features the heritage three “double louvres”, the Mercedes star mounted on the hood, and lots of chrome accents all around.

It rides on 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels, and comes in five colors: Verde Silver, Graphite Gray, Nautic Blue, Obsidian Black, and Pearl White.

The interior now features the MBUX Superscreen, a large piece of glass that dominates the dashboard. It combines a 14.4-inch central touchscreen and 12.3-inch passenger display, alongside a heads-up display to augment the digital driver’s display.

Other amenities include Artico leather seats, four-zone automatic climate control, a 17-speaker Burmester surround sound system, a panoramic sunroof, electric sunblinds, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

The highlight is the plug-in hybrid drivetrain, combining a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor with a 19.53kWh battery. Combined power output is 204 horsepower and 320 Nm, with a max range of up to more than 100km on all-electric range.

It comes with an on-board AC charger that goes up to 11kW, and is capable of using Type 2 chargers, and also comes with a included charger for domestic outlets.
