MG ZS gets turbo power for Php 1.158M

The MG ZS has been one of the most popular models in the subcompact crossover SUV segment thanks to its affordable price of just below the Php 1-million mark paired with eye-catching looks.

Over the years, the competition has gotten stronger with very competitive features, looks, and performance. Not to be outdone, MG Philippines has gone all-out by introducing the ZS Turbo, known as the ZST, for the 2022 model year which is now officially available locally.

In terms of styling, the ZST gets slightly more modern touches compared to standard ZS. In front is a Obsidian Matrix grille, flanked by full LED projector headlights with daytime running lights, as well as 17-inch two-tone Tomahawk design alloy wheels.

Inside, the ZST also has subtle differences from the regular ZS. These differences are its Goggles Virtual Instrument Cluster, and 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Other features found in the ZST are an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, a panoramic sunroof, and leather seats with monogrammed headrests. For safety, there’s a 360-degree around-view monitor and blind-spot monitoring.

Under the hood of the 2022 MG ZST is a 1.3-liter turbocharged inline-3 cylinder petrol engine that produces 162 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

All 39 MG dealerships around the country are now accepting reservations for the MG ZST. It comes in a single 1.3 Trophy variant, now the top-spec in the ZS lineup locally and it retails for a suggested retail price of Php 1,158,888.
