MIAS 2023: Peugeot PH adds ‘Active’ variants for 3008 and 5008, previews e-2008
They may not have a whole new model to introduce at this year’s edition of the Manila International Auto Show, but Peugeot Philippines, under the distributorship of Astara Philippines, is still going all out.
The French automaker previewed at the auto show the e- 2008, as well as introduced new Active variants of its 3008 and 5008 crossovers which expands the options of which their customers can choose from.
The e-2008 gives showgoers a glimpse of what we can expect from the brand in the future when it comes to electrification. “The Peugeot E-2008 taking centerstage at our MIAS display is intended to give our customers a preview of the future with Peugeot. It is a symbol of our goal to give as many people as possible access to electrified mobility,” said Maricar Parco, brand head of Peugeot Philippines under Astara.
As for the new 3008 and 5008 Active variants, these make the two crossovers a bit more affordable with a little less equipment. For example, the Active variants get fabric seats instead of leather, body-colored mirror caps instead of chrome, 8-inch infotainment system instead of 10-inches, and no sunroof, just to name a few.
The Peugeot e-2008 is not yet being officially sold in the country but the 3008 Active and 5008 Active will be available for Php 2,090,000 and Php 2,275,000, respectively.
