Mitsubishi Motors PH upgrades the Mirage G4 for 2025, pricing now starts at Php 793K

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 gets much-needed upgrades.

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 may be old, having been available in our market for more than a decade now, but that doesn’t stop it from being a strong seller for Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC). In fact, it took the crown as the third bestselling vehicle in our market in 2024.

For 2025, the Japanese automaker is giving its number one-selling model a little upgrade, giving it features that we think it should’ve had way back when it was last updated in 2021.

Same same, but different.

To get it out of the way already, the 2025 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 lineup is still composed of the same three variants but gets slight price increases thanks to the upgrades. These are as follows:

  • Mirage G4 1.2 GLX M/T – Php 793,000 (+Php 24,000)
  • Mirage G4 1.2 GLX CVT – Php 841,000 (+Php 22,000)
  • Mirage G4 1.2 GLS CVT – Php 937,000 (+Php 38,000)

Now for the upgrades, CVT variants are finally equipped with LED headlights and taillights. The 15-inch alloy wheels on all variants still get the same design but now receive a two-tone machine finish and black colorway. The base GLX M/T variant continues to have halogen exterior lighting.

The wheels now get a two-tone finish.

Four exterior colors are still available: Titanium Gray, Red Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and (by order only) White Solid.

Changes are not immediately obvious on the inside as it only gets a new fabric seat pattern. The rest of its equipment remains the same such as a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all variants; and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and push button start on the GLS.

Can you spot the difference?

Still powering the Mirage G4 is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder 3A92 MIVEC engine that produces 73 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or an Invecs-III CVT.

While that remains the same, driving safety has also been upgraded with hill start assist and active stability control (ASC) now standard across the lineup. That’s on top of already standard dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, and reverse camera.

With these upgrades, do you think the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 will be able to maintain its number three status in the Philippine market? Only time will tell.
