Mitsubishi officially launches the Destinator in PH

After announcing a lot of information to the public, like initial specifications, vehicle sightings, and even its official prices, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has now formally launched the Destinator seven-seater crossover to the market.

To recap, the Destinator’s prices start at Php 1,389,000 for the GLX Turbo CVT, then Php 1,599,000 for the GLS Turbo CVT, and Php 1,929,000 for the top-of-the-line GT Turbo CVT.

The Destinator’s design draws heavily from the DST Concept, with its Dynamic Shield front fascia front and center, with a smoked acrylic 3D-design front grille, and the Gravitas and Dynamism design language. This also comes alongside its five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating.

It’s available in six colors—Quartz White Pearl (two-tone for GT and Monotone for GLS and GLX), Lunar Blue Mica (two-tone for GT and Monotone for GLS), Graphite Gray Metallic, Jet Black Mica (GT, GLS), Blade Silver Metallic, and Red Metallic (GLX only).

The Destinator has muscular, flared-out fenders, and it rides on 18-inch wheels (single-tone gray for GLX, two-tone machine cut for GLS and GT). Distinct T-shaped LED headlights and taillights make the SUV stand out, and the higher grades (GLS and GT) get LED fog lamps and LED daytime running lights.

The interior of the Destinator has a modern layout, similar to the one found in the Xforce. The GT has two-tone leather upholstery, while the GLS and GLX come with black fabric seats across the three rows.

The second-row seat bench has a center armrest and dual seatback tables, and the third-row seats fold in a 50:50 split for more cargo space.

The GT and GLS come with an eight-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the GLX comes with a smaller eight-inch infotainment with smartphone integration and a 4.2-inch screen for the analog gauge cluster.

The top-of-the-line GT variant comes with additional amenities such as 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and an eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system, a digital rear view mirror, alongside a Nanoe X air purification system, and a Cool Box (for GT and GLS).

This is the first Mitsubishi product in the Philippines to come with Mitsubishi Connect, the brand’s first connected car service that allows you to remotely lock/unlock, control the climate, lights, and horn. It also allows you to check the car’s location, speed, and has safety services such as SOS/Emergency calling, roadside assistance, automatic collision notification, and more.

The Destinator uses a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine (4B40) that produces 163 horsepower and 250Nm of torque, with a CVT sending power to the front wheels.

This is accompanied by the likes of Active Yaw Control, a best-in-class 214mm of ground clearance, and more importantly, five drive modes such as Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and the return of the Tarmac Mode from the likes of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

The GT variant also comes with a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems, like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, leading car departure notification, automatic high beams, and a 360-degree camera (GT and GLS).

The brand also has introductory prices effective until January 31, 2026, that slash them down to Php 1,289,000 for the GLX Turbo CVT, Php 1,499,000 for the GLS Turbo CVT, and Php 1,799,000 for the GT Turbo CVT, and will also include Destinator Adventure Gear merchandise.

For those who will attend the vehicle’s launch at Ayala Malls Manila Bay from November 20 to 23, 2025, and will release their unit on or before January 31, 2026, customers will receive an additional Php 5,000 cash discount on top of the introductory pricing.

Buyers will also be able to take advantage of Mitsubishi’s standard three-year warranty, alongside an extended two-year warranty coverage.
