Mitsubishi starts shipping Xforce HEV units in Thailand

Since introducing the Mitsubishi Xforce HEV at the last Bangkok International Motor Show, the electrified variant of the brand’s latest crossover has garnered a lot of attention, especially in Thailand, where the vehicle is being produced at the Laem Chabang plant of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.
The model has received over 1,800 bookings since its launch last March 20, showing its incredibly high demand in Thailand alone, and the brand has announced that it has commenced the shipments of models to customers, at least in Thailand first.

For a refresher, the Xforce HEV can be distinguished by a few visual cues on the outside such as a body kit, aerodynamic 18-inch alloy wheels, clear taillight lenses, and HEV badging.
The biggest change comes from the e:Motion hybrid system first seen in the Xpander HEV. A 1.6-liter (4A92) four-cylinder DOHC MIVEC gasoline engine is paired with an electric motor, an e-CVT, and a lithium-ion battery

The power output is 116 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque from the electric motor, and 107 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque from a two-speed hybrid transmission, and has the addition of two more drive modes: EV, and Charge.
While our left-hand-drive Xforce is sourced from the PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha plant in Indonesia, this is a sign to expect the export of the car to other countries in the coming months.
