myTOYOTA Connect introduced in PH
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is continuously improving its customers’ ownership experience, this time with the introduction of myTOYOTA Connect, its newest suite of connected services added to the myTOYOTA app.
Designed to bring local Toyota owners more convenience and personalization, myTOYOTA Connect allows its users to monitor their vehicles easier with its locate feature, maintenance history and service reminder functions, and even insurance services.
“myTOYOTA Connect is yet another example of how TMP is determined to improve the Filipinos’ quality of life through technologically advanced mobility options and services,” said Atsuhiro Okamoto, president of TMP.
“With myTOYOTA Connect, we are not just giving Toyota users the power to enjoy the best possible customer experience through access to life-chanaina innovations and practical information. We are also harnessing the power of data to continuously personalize and bring constant improvement in our level of service to our customers.”
So what features does myTOYOTA Connect have? First is vehicle information as the application allows you to access information such as trip summaries, the exact location of the vehicle even when it isn’t running, and a geofencing feature which limits where a vehicle is driven to a certain radius and sends an alert when the vehicle enters or exits that area.
myTOYOTA Connect also allows its users to view vehicle maintenance related information. The app also gives on-time reminders as to when a vehicle would need to visit the service center. You can also book your service appointments with the app.
Finally, myTOYOTA Connect also allows users to insure their vehicle through Connected Toyota Insure. This partnership with AXA Philippines as its provider, is the first Pay How You Drive (PHYD) insurance product in the country and it bases its computations on the recorded driving behavior and vehicle mileage on the app.

For now, myTOYOTA Connect is available on units of the Toyota Hiace GL Grandia, GL Grandia Tourer, and Super Grandia, as well as the improved Toyota RAV4 which rolls out today (November 24). Subscription to myTOYOTA Connect is free for 2-years starting from the date of vehicle release.
