Jetour Auto PH celebrates 100 days in PH, 4 new models set to be launched

Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) is celebrating 100 days of operations in the country. The company officially launched during the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) in April and since then has experienced a couple of milestones, and is expanding its presence further with new dealerships and models coming.

JAPI was formed under the combined efforts of Gateway Group and Autospeedygo Group, two of the largest dealership groups in the country. The Jetour brand on the other hand, is a subsidiary of Chery International, and all of them have something to brag.

So far, within its first 100 days, JAPI was able to sell around 300 vehicles. With that, the company is aiming to have around 50,000 vehicles sold within the next five years. That’s 800 vehicles per month.

Expanding Dealer Network

The company is also working on massive expansion for its network of dealerships around the country. Right now, the brand has six (6) fully operational dealerships: Alabang, Fairview, Pasay, EDSA Centris, Las Piñas, and Cubao. Meanwhile, seven (7) dealerships are already operational but still undergoing construction: Isabela, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, and Cagayan De Oro

Another four (4) are currently set for activation: Pampanga, Quezon Avenue, Batangas, and Butuan. Finally, applications are currently being processed for nine (9) new dealerships: BGC, Bacoor, Angeles, Marikina, La Union, Tacloban, Baguio, Dagupan, and Tuguegarao.

These current and upcoming facilities are handled by various companies who also hold dealerships to different automotive brands. Some of these dealer principal groups include AutoFlare, MG Gateway South Corporation, ANGS Automotive, Inc., Angcore Motor Group, Profit Fleet, Inc., Unli Drive Motors, Magnum Motors Corporation, and Manindra Auto Corporation.

In addition, Jetour Quezon Avenue which is among those set for activation will be operated by JAPI themselves, probably set to become the brand’s flagship dealership facility in the country.

New Models

It’s not all about expanding its network. JAPI is also set to launch not one, not two, not three, but four new additions to its local lineup, with fully electric and hybrid vehicles also coming. It was even emphasised that the latter will be a full hybrid and not a mild-hybrid.

The four (4) new models were even confirmed and these are the T2 which was revealed at this year’s Auto Shanghai back in April; the Dashing PHEV, a plug-in hybrid version of the brand’s flagship Dashing compact crossover; the new Suburban X50 which is yet to be revealed even in China; and the X90 midsize SUV.

The company extends its heartfelt appreciation to media partners, customers, and dedicated employees who have contributed to Jetour’s journey. Their support propels the brand to new heights and solidifies its position as a symbol of trust, quality, and innovation in the Philippines,” JAPI said in a release.
