Ford Everest Wildtrak spotted in PH, some details leaked (including price)

The Ford Everest Wildtrak was revealed for the New Zealand market earlier this year, followed by its ASEAN debut during the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) in Thailand, and now, it might already be in the Philippines.

It looks like Ford Philippines is launching the new variant of its midsize pickup-based SUV entry soon as a unit of the Ford Everest Wildtrak has been spotted on local roads, and some listings have already appeared on Facebook Marketplace. In fact, another post on the Ford Everest Club Philippines Facebook group shows that a dealer has already released a unit to a customer.

According to listings, we will only get the 2.0 Bi-turbo 4×2 version of the Wildtrak in a limited quantity, with a similar equipment list as the Titanium 4×4 variant. That means it may get matrix LED headlights, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, and Ford Co-Pilot 360 safety suite, among others.

Of course, being the Wildtrak, it gets the Ranger Wildtrak’s front fascia with the signature C-clamp LED headlights and DRLs, matched with a large front mesh grille with an X-shaped bumper and W-I-L-D-T-R-A-K lettering on the hood. The side then features gray wheel arches, unique 20-inch alloy wheels, and gray side mirror caps. Wildtrak badging can also be found on the doors and tailgate.

There might be four (4) exterior colors which are Sedona White, Meteor Gray, Black, and Luxe Yellow which is a signature Wildtrak color.

Inside, we can expect it to remain similar but with leather+suede combination seat materials with the Wildtrak name embossed onto it, and orange stitching on the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels.

As for its engine, it looks like we will still be getting the 2.0-liter EcoBlue Bi-turbo Inline 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. No V6 turbodiesel here.

The best part? We know how much it might be priced and it’s at Php 2,369,000, right in between the two Titanium variants.

Now we still don’t know when exactly Ford Philippines plans to officially launch the Everest Wildtrak, or if there will be any launch at all. But again, given the spottings and listings, and even the unit release, it may be within the next few weeks.
