GAC Motor PH sales grows by 276%

GAC Motor Philippines, under the distributorship of Astara Philippines, continues to see non-stop growth ever since it was relaunched early this year.

The company announced this piece of exciting news during the recently concluded GAC Discovery Drive Fest, a 3-day mall display and customer test drive event that was held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

Our brand’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge vehicles that cater to the evolving needs and preferences of our Filipino customers has been the driving force behind this impressive sales trajectory,” said Franz Decloedt, marketing director of Astara Philippines and GAC Motor Philippines.

The Chinese automaker saw an impressive year-over-year growth of 276% over the past 7 months, selling a total of 825 units. That’s not exactly a huge number but is impressive considering that the company only started operations this year.

GAC Motor Philippines was relaunched in January this year under the new distributorship of Astara Philippines, the same company handling Peugeot in the country. The brand first entered the Philippine market in 2018 under Legado Motors, Inc. which currently operates the brand’s flagship dealership along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City.

The company currently has 15 other dealerships around the country, located in Alabang, Bacoor, Batangas City, Butuan, Cainta, Cebu, Davao, E. Rodriguez Ave. (New Manila), Iloilo, Lipa City, Makati, Manila Bay, Pampanga, Quezon Avenue, and Tarlac.
