Hyundai Motor PH, Gateway Group break ground for new Cebu-Talisay dealership
Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) is expanding its reach in the country with the addition of a new dealership facility in the Central Visayas region.
The Korean automaker, together with Gateway Group, one of the largest automotive dealer companies in the country, recently broke ground for the upcoming Hyundai Cebu-Talisay dealership, located in Talisay City in the outskirts of the country’s 2nd largest metropolitan area of Cebu.
“We are very fortunate that the Gateway Group share the same passion as us when it comes to mobility and the community at large.Cebuanos will soon have an even easier access to our sustainable and innovative cars, most especially the back-to-back World Car of The Year winners, the IONIQ 5 and 6. Not only that, we wish to make our presence more felt by existing Hyundai owners who are residing or working at this island through our expert aftersales care and genuine parts and accessories offers,” says Mr. Dong Wook Lee, President of HMPH.
Hyundai Cebu-Talisay will adopt the Hyundai Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) 2.0 which adheres to the brand’s direction towards a more customer-centric approach through various experience segments as one enters the showroom to inquire or test drive or pays a visit for service or repair.
The new facility will also be the Korean automaker’s newest EV outlet in the country which means it will be authorized to sell vehicles from the IONIQ lineup, as well as feature an EV charging facility.
Hyundai Cebu-Talisay is expected to be operational by the 4th quarter of 2024.
