There are now over 25,000 Ford Territory units on PH roads
It seems that Ford Philippines is doing really well lately. Fresh from announcing a 15,000 unit sales milestone for its bestselling Ranger pickup truck, the blue oval announced that there are now over 25,000 units of Ford Territory running on Philippine soil.
We don’t have the specific numbers but the Ford Territory has surely marked its territory well as Ford Philippines says that total sales of both the previous and current generation models breached the said number. For the latter, over 5,000 units have already been sold.
“The Ford Territory is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most successful Ford vehicles sold in the Philippines. It is a global product of Ford that complements the needs and of Filipino customers, so we are really happy that it continues to resonate in the market even after three years. We truly appreciate the support and patronage, and we look forward to seeing more Filipinos own every driving moment with the Next-Gen Territory,” shares Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.
The Ford Territory first made its Philippine debut back in August 2020. The said version, designed in collaboration with China’s Jiangling Motor Corporation (JMC), hit the market by storm with units flying off showroom floors. The current generation was launched in April this year and continues to sell very well.
At one point, the Ford Territory nameplate even became the top-selling model in the compact SUV segment, besting even seasoned nameplates like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.
