GAC Motor PH grows by 305% with GS3 Emzoom as top-seller
GAC Motor Philippines continues to experience impressive growth since its local distributorship was taken over by Astara Philippines, the local subsidiary of Astara, one of the largest automotive distribution companies in the world.
The Chinese automaker saw year-to-date sales rise by 305% with 1,488 units already sold this year. For the month of October alone, sales increased by a whopping 523% with 268 units sold, compared to October last year.
GAC Motor Philippines attributes this sales success to the growing popularity of the GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover which was launched just four months ago. The said model is currently the brand’s top-selling model in the market with 423 units already sold. It is closely followed by their flagship GS8 midsize SUV which has sold 378 units, remaining as one of their most successful models. The Emkoo and Empow are also selling well with 124 units and 118 units finding homes, respectively.
“Our continuous success in retail sales has propelled GAC Motor to unparalleled heights, affirming the growing number of Filipinos who appreciate and recognize the unmatched value that our vehicles offer,” said GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt.
“We move closer to our target of breaking 2,000 units by year-end, and this achievement bolsters our commitment and confidence in providing our customers with the utmost experience, encompassing exceptional vehicles, top-notch after-sales service, and enhanced accessibility through an expanded network of dealers,” he added.
