Nissan holds special 90th anniversary exhibit in Japan
Are you a fan of the Nissan brand and visiting Japan soon? The Japanese automaker is holding a special exhibit at its global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan in celebration of its 90th anniversary.
Dubbed the Nissan Walk, this special exhibit that is accessible to the public showcases the highlights of the company’s history since it was founded on December 26, 1933.
Located between Yokohama Station’s East Exit and the city’s Minatomirai central business district, it is the perfect place to publicly showcase the different happenings throughout the company’s 90-year history. Everything is shown on the walls and floor of the Nissan Walk.
The exhibit highlights Nissan’s history chronologically with each segment presenting a decade of epoch-making events, pioneering technologies, and notable cars along with the social context of each era. The Minatomirai side of the 75-meter timeline begins with the establishment of Nissan, while the Yokohama Station side concludes with the company’s plans for the future.
The Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery, located on the first floor of the building, is also holding a 90th anniversary event on January 8, 2024 to show Nissan’s appreciation of all the people and communities that have supported it for so many years.
The Nissan Walk is located on the second floor between Hamamirai Walk and the Minatomirai Pedestrian Bridge in Yokohama, Japan, just south of Tokyo.
