Kia PH is now accepting pre-orders for Sonet, pricing to start around Php 770K
A short while after teasing its new upcoming model, Kia Philippines has officially confirmed the arrival and opening of pre-orders for the all-new Sonet subcompact crossover.
The Korean automaker has confirmed that the initial batch of units have already arrived in the country while its launch will be happening next month as announced in previous teasers.
“The Kia Sonet is one of the most popular models in Kia’s global lineup, and it promises to fulfill the needs of young individuals and families with its crossover credentials and rich feature set,” said Kia Philippines Chief Operating Officer Brian Buendia.
Not much information about the Kia Sonet has been announced yet but they did say that it will have an indicative starting price of Php 770,000. Various sources also mention that there will be around three to four variants.
In addition, rumors also indicate that the Sonet will be replacing the Stonic in the local Kia lineup. This makes sense though as Kia Motors has announced two years ago the ceasing of production of vehicles like the Stonic in China where local units are sourced from. There is however no development on that yet.
Again, customers may now place reservations and pre-orders for the all-new Kia Sonet at all authorized Kia dealerships nationwide. Once more details about this new small crossover come in, we’ll be sure to update you about it.
