Hyundai Motor PH opens pop-up store in Tacloban City, breaks ground for new dealership

Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) continues its expansion in a bid to reach more customers in the country, particularly in the Eastern Visayas Region, with the opening of a new mall pop-up store and the groundbreaking of a full-service dealership facility.

The Korean automaker recently cut the ribbons to a new showroom at the ground floor of the Robinsons North Tacloban shopping mall. This serves as a temporary sales facility for interested Hyundai buyers in the area while a full-service facility is being constructed in the city.

HMPH also broke ground for a full-service Hyundai Tacloban dealership.

Hyundai Tacloban (and the mall pop-up store) will be owned and operated by Topcars Autoworld Corporation, headed by its President Mr. Willard Chan, Managing Director Mr. Ryan Lindbergh Chan, and Chief Finance Officer Ms. Charlene Lesley Chan. The new facility will be located along the National Highway, Palo City, Leyte.

The new facilities will serve customers in what is the most populated city in the Eastern Visayas Region. Hyundai says that Tacloban and Palo Cities serve as a prime location for them to showcase their products in the local market.

“Aside from the latest technology we bring, what truly sets Hyundai apart from its competitors is our genuine care for our customers. In selecting our dealer partners, we make sure that our values resonate with the winning candidate. We only entrust the brand to those who we believe have the heart to extend the dedicated service that our consumers deserve. Through TopcarsAutoworld Corporation, HMPH is confident that the City of Tacloban will be able to fully experience and enjoy the Hyundai brand,” says HMPH Managing Director Mr. Cecil Capacete.
