PH-spec Mitsubishi Xforce confirmed to get Yamaha sound system, different drive modes

Many are looking forward to what Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has in store for the market with the upcoming launch of the Xforce subcompact crossover. Well, the Japanese automaker has just confirmed two features that their newest model will have.

You can read more about what you can expect from the Mitsubishi Xforce here.

Firstly, the Philippine-spec Mitsubishi Xforce will come standard with the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system. This eight-speaker sound system composed of four woofers and four tweeters is the first automotive sound system created by Yamaha. It also has a special SCV (Speed Compensated Volume) and equalizer function which MMPC says will provide clear and well-balanced sound even when driving on rough roads.

When it comes to driving, the Mitsubishi Xforce will come with four different selectable drive modes—Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud. These will help give more confidence and safety when tackling different types of road conditions. MMPC also says that the Wet mode adjusts power delivery, traction, yaw control levels, and steering weight improving stability and control on wet roads. That’s surely a useful feature for countries like ours where rain showers are common.

The Mitsubishi Xforce is set to officially become available in the Philippines on July 5, 2024. MMPC says that more details about the crossover will also be revealed on June 28.
