Subaru showcases GT Edition versions of Crosstrek, WRX Sedan, WRX Wagon at SG Motor Show
Looking for something that looks sportier from Subaru’s lineup? Well they’ve got you covered with a trio of new GT Edition variants, revealed at the recent 2024 Singapore Motor Show.
The Subaru Crosstrek, WRX, and WRX Wagon each get their own GT Edition versions which come with additional styling elements for more flair, developed in partnership with Giken Co. Ltd and lead designer Masahiko Kobayashi.
First is the Subaru Crosstrek i-S EyeSight e-BOXER GT Edition (that’s a mouthful) which gets the addition of front, rear, and side under spoilers, new 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and a roof spoiler for both aesthetics and aerodynamics.
Inside, the GT Edition Crosstrek gets two-tone gray leather seats with the GT Edition logo embroidered onto them. It also gets sporty red accents, white contrast stitching, and perforated leather throughout the interior.
Meanwhile, the Subaru WRX GT Edition which comes in both sedan and wagon forms, gets front, rear, and side extensions for better aerodynamics. They also get an STI front grille for a more sporty look.
We’re not exactly sure if and when these GT Edition models will be launched in the Philippines. Some sources point to this year’s Manila International Auto Show so that’s something to look forward to.
