The Nissan Kicks e-POWER is now more affordable

Planning to purchase a Nissan Kicks e-POWER soon? Well you’re in luck as Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) is now more affordable thanks to a price reduction for the popular electrified subcompact crossover.

READ: Hybrid and PHEV import duties are now zero

A look at the NPI website’s pricelist shows that pricing for the Kicks e-POWER is now lower by Php 60,000. The lineup and its prices now looks like this:

  • Kicks e-POWER EL – Php 1,179,000
  • Kicks e-POWER VE – Php 1,279,000
  • Kicks e-POWER Sport – Php 1,279,000
  • Kicks e-POWER VL – Php 1,479,000

The price reduction can be attributed to the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act or EVIDA Law. It can be recalled that battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are completely exempt from import duties since the law was passed last year.

It also makes it one of the more affordable offerings among all electrified vehicles in the local market today.

So, if you’re waiting for that sign for you to make the switch from your conventional ICE vehicle to an electrified one, this is probably that sign you’ve been waiting for.
