Ford PH has sold over 14K vehicles in 1H 2024
Ford Philippines continues to sustain its growth with a decent increase in sales for the first half of the year.
The blue oval brand has seen an overall sales of 14,460 units in the first six months of 2024, a growth of 4.49% compared to the same period in 2023. While that may seem small, its sales growth per model has increased by large margins.
Leading the American automaker’s sales in the Philippines is the Ford Ranger which saw a 29% increase in sales with 6,872 units sold. This is followed by the Ford Everest which enjoyed a growth of 20% with a total of 4,536 units sold. The Ford Territory comes in third despite a 38% drop in sales to just 2,771 units compared to last year’s 4,493 units.
Meanwhile, the all-new Ford Mustang and Ford Bronco which were launched in May this year saw a combined total sales number of 130 units. Ford Philippines was not specific as to how many units were sold per model among these two but the combined figure is decent for newly launched niche models.
“We are pleased with our sales performance for the first six months of the year driven by the continued demand for our best-selling Ford vehicles, with the addition of the All-New Mustang and All-New Bronco which were received warmly by our customers,” says Ford Philippines Managing Director Mr. Mike Breen. “We are excited to sustain the momentum through the next half of the year as we continue to enhance the Ford ownership experience.”
