Omoda & Jaecoo PH signs with five dealer groups
In case you’ve forgotten about Omoda & Jaecoo (O&J) Philippines, we can’t blame you.
The two brands have been teasing the arrival of their models for more than a year now and despite a presence at this year’s Manila International Auto Show, and with repeatedly pushed-back launch dates, nothing has really happened.
But it seems like there’s a little bit of progress as the company has announced that it has been able to sign with five dealer partners.
Only three of the five dealer partners have been named though as announced in the company’s press release. These are veteran dealer groups—Autohub Group and Autoklassik Motors Corporation, and new industry player Evolve Mobility.
And if things actually move forward from here, we should be seeing O&J dealerships opening in Quezon City, Taguig City, and Manila City for the National Capital Region (NCR); Iloilo City for the Western Visayas Region; and in the province of Pampanga in Central Luzon.
As it has been since they first made their presence felt, the question is when?
