CAMPI all set for PIMS 2024
All is set for this year’s edition of the Philippine International Motor Show.
The four-day motor show’s organizer–the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) recently held a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Manila where their different members gathered to answer questions from the media on what to expect as well as future plans.
With a theme of “Dare. Drive. The Future Redefined.,” CAMPI says that this year’s PIMS, its ninth since it started, promises to be a showcase of the latest models in the market, concept cars, and the newest technologies in the automotive industry.
Unlike previously announced, 17 automotive brands (instead of 15) will be participating in this year’s edition of the PIMS. These are the following:
- BMW

- Chery
- Daewoo
- Ford

Among those, Ford Philippines is the newest to join, having only previously participated in the annual Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
In case you’re wondering what to expect from all those brands, some have already hinted what we might see from them, and some have even announced specifics. BMW Philippines mentioned that they will be bringing in an electrified M car, while Changan Auto Philippines said that they will be launching their first electrified model in the market.
Meanwhile, Isuzu Philippines said that they will be showcasing an electrified model as well, while Kia Philippines has confirmed that they will be launching the all-electric Kia EV9.
“This year’s PIMS embodies CAMPI’s bold vision of uniting the automotive industry and leading the way in redefining advanced, inclusive mobility for all Filipinos. We are excited to showcase the innovations that will shape the future of transportation in the country,” said Atty. Rommel Gutierrez, President of CAMPI.
There’s definitely a lot to look forward to for this event. The 2024 Philippine International Motor Show will happen on October 24-27, 2024 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
