BYD Cars PH previews electric Seagull hatchback to public
After a little teaser posted on their official social media pages last week, BYD Cars Philippines, under the distributorship of ACMobility, has previewed its newest upcoming offering, the BYD Seagull small electric hatchback, ahead of its launch later this month.
The Seagull was part of the BYD Tech Tour which was recently held from August 30-September 1 at the Ayala Malls TriNoma in Quezon City, where it was displayed alongside other products from the Chinese automaker.
“We at BYD Cars Philippines are excited to give the public a sneak peek of what we believe will redefine what affordable, fun, and practical electric mobility is in the country,” says BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca.
“For those in the market for their first electric vehicle, the BYD Seagull is the ideal entry into the electric mobility lifestyle. BYD dealerships, our website, and our social media channels will gladly answer your inquiries and handle your reservations for the BYD Seagull,” he added.
Small electric hatchbacks are starting to gain some traction in the Philippine market with models from brands such as Jetour and Wuling, and even BYD’s own Dolphin, currently dominating the segment. That is exactly what BYD Cars Philippines is aiming for with the upcoming introduction of the Seagull.
