Puregold partners with Nissan PH, chooses Kicks e-POWER for store operations fleet
Shopping at a Puregold supermarket soon? Well there’s a chance that you might see the newest member of their store operations fleet in the area as the supermarket chain’s parent company, Puregold Price Club, Inc., announces its new partnership with Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI).
NPI turned-over in June a fleet of seven Nissan Kicks e-POWER vehicles, all painted in Gun Metallic Gray, to Puregold Price Club, Inc. The partnership between the two companies aims to accelerate the latter’s sustainability efforts.
“Our efforts to be more sustainable are central to a better future for younger generations and our long-term success as a company. We are committed to integrating sustainability across our operations and motivating our customers to join us in these efforts,” said Puregold Price Club, Inc. President Ferdinand Vincent Co.
The integration of the electric driven and gas-powered subcompact crossover in the company’s fleet is just one of many sustainability efforts they are implementing across their operations including: ‘Walang Plastik Grocery Days,’ transition to LED lighting across all Puregold stores, and installation of solar power systems in various Metro Manila and provincial locations.
“The Nissan Kicks e-POWER aligns perfectly with Puregold’s commitment to sustainable practices. Its exceptional fuel efficiency and innovative electric motor technology will contribute significantly to Puregold’s environmental goals and operational cost savings,” said Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda.
