Lynk & Co 06 gets more affordable Hyper Core+ variant, SRP at Php 1.399M
Lynk & Co Philippines, under United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), is expanding its lineup, particularly for its 06 crossover, a few months after launching at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.
Meet the Lynk & Co 06 Hyper Core+ which is the brand’s new entry level product, priced at Php 1,399,000. This also effectively lowering the starting price for the subcompact crossover. Cash buyers can get it at an even lower price thanks to a Php 100,000 discount, bringing the it down to Php 1.299-million. And just for reference, the Lynk & Co 06 Pro is priced at Php 1.488-million.
Compared to the higher variant shown to us previously, the Hyper Core+ doesn’t lose out on that much. For starters, it still gets the same overall styling with the brand’s signature Aurora Borealis daytime running lights and Energy Cube taillights.
Standard exterior equipment also remain similar with stuff like full LED exterior lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Setting this apart is a slightly smaller set of 18-inch alloy wheels.
It’s also largely similar on the inside with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets a six-speaker audio system and leather-style bucket seats.
Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 06 Hyper Core+ still gets the same engine as other variants. That’s a 1.5-liter turbocharged Inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 181 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed (wet) dual-clutch transmission.
If we’re not mistaken, the Hyper Core+ loses out on advanced driver-assist systems such as Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Despite that, it still gets six airbags, stability control, hill start assist, anti rollover protection, a 360-degree view camera, and cruise control, among others.
With this more affordable variant, buyers will still be able to take advantage of a five-year or 150,000 kilometer comprehensive vehicle warranty and two-year free periodic maintenance service (PMS).
