Subaru PH is now offering free PMS
Offering new car buyers free preventive maintenance servicing (PMS) is not new in the local automotive industry. Brands like Mazda, Ford, and Chery have been doing this for a couple of years now and its benefits are definitely well felt by both the brands and their customers.
Subaru is the latest to join the group chat as the Japanese automaker’s local distributor, Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP) has announced that new customers who purchase any model in their current lineup will be able to enjoy a free preventive maintenance service (PMS) package for their vehicle.
Customers who purchase a BRZ, Crosstrek, Forester, Outback, or WRX will be able to enjoy free PMS visits for two years which is equivalent to two visits a year and a total of four free PMS. Meanwhile, those who purchase an Evoltis will enjoy an additional three years of free PMS bringing the total free PMS up to five years or a total of 10 free PMS. Visits must be done every six months or 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
According to MIP, the free PMS package includes all necessary lubricants, parts, and materials. This means Subaru will handle key maintenance tasks such as engine oil and oil filter replacements, air conditioning and air filter cleaning, and tire rotations, all in line with the recommended intervals.
