VinFast VF3 coming to PH for less than Php 800K
When the VinFast brand launched in the Philippines, they confirmed that they will soon be introducing the VF3 mini electric SUV. We won’t have to wait too long for it anymore as the Vietnamese automaker has just announced that it’s coming very soon.
Revealed at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, the VF 3 will be VinFast Philippines’ most affordable offering, retailing at less than Php 800,000 according to the company.
The VinFast VF 3’s full specifications for our market have not been announced but the company did say that it measures at 3,190mm long, 1,679mm wide, and 1,622mm tall with a 2,075mm wheelbase. It also gets a ground clearance of 191 mm. Also, powering it is an electric motor and 18.64 kWh battery producing a humble 40 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque.
VinFast Philippines also says that the VF 3 is designed for city use and will have lower running costs compared to ICE vehicles, thanks in part to the brand’s battery rental service.
A launch date has not yet been announced, but the company did inform us that they will be holding a new vehicle launch this coming September 17 (Tuesday). Likely, it’s already for this small electric SUV.
