Ford PH expands Explorer availability to more dealers
Good news for those looking for a three-row midsize crossover SUV that offers more space and comfort compared to the popular pickup based models in the market! Ford Philippines has announced that it has expanded the availability of the Explorer to more dealerships around the country.
Launched locally in December 2021, the Ford Explorer is one of the few models you can get in the three-row midsize crossover segment locally, competing with the likes of the Mazda CX-9 and GAC GS8. It is also one of the longest running nameplates for Ford in the Philippines.
The Ford Explorer was only initially available at select local Ford dealerships at launch. With the new development, it is now more accessible to those who aren’t going for the usual pickup based three-row SUVs like the Ford Everest and Toyota Fortuner.
In addition, starting this year, those who purchase a Ford Explorer will be able to take advantage of a Peace of Mind and Free Labor package, a complimentary vehicle inspection service after 2 months or 2,000 km–whichever comes first, as well as free labor on two periodic maintenance schedule services.
“We are excited to share that the Explorer is now available to more customers especially those who are looking for a spacious and sophisticated SUV. The Explorer is an important product in our SUV line-up, and we look forward to seeing more Filipino families experience its performance, comfort and capability,” says Mike Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines.
Do note though that the lone Ford Explorer variant now retails for Php 3,498,000. That’s a rather large increase of Php 500,000 compared to its 2021 retail price of Php 2,998,000.
