Here are the results of Leg 2 of the 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) and Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippines have just concluded the second leg of the 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup, held at the Clark International Speedway in Clark Freeport, Pampanga last September 28, 2024.
The second leg of the one-make-race (OMR) series which is already in its 10th season, once again saw over 30 racers battle on the race track in the Promotional, Sporting, Super Sporting, and Novice classes.
The Novice Class category was added for this season, composed of winners and top performers from previous TGR Vios Cup Autocross Challenges. Also part of this category is TMP President Masando Hashimoto himself who battled it out with other racers.
Unlike the first leg of the 2024 TGR Philippine Cup which was met with varying wet and dry conditions, the second leg was dry with sunny and light overcast conditions over the track for the two sprint races and single endurance race for that day.
During down-time from the races, members of Toyota GR car clubs were able to immerse themselves on the track with their own personal GR cars, while guests were able to witness a drifting exhibition, featuring the Toyota GR 86.
The third and final leg of the 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup is set to happen this November, also at the Clark International Speedway. It is sponsored by Petron, GT Radial, Seiko, Toyota Financial Services Philippines, myTOYOTA Wallet, Denso, AVT, 3M, ROTA, Tuason Racing, OMP, and Kinto One.
