While all attention to Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is focused on its upcoming new seven-seater SUV concept and a recent recall for the Mitsubishi L300, the Japanese automaker also brought back the Mirage G4 Black Series.

Initially introduced two years ago, the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Black Series gives the popular subcompact sedan some additions and changes from the standard version for additional flair.

As before, the Black Series is based on the 1.2 GLS CVT variant and gets a red stripe on the front grille, and gloss black finishes for the 15-inch alloy wheels and side mirrors for the exterior. Inside, it gets blue LED floor and center console illumination, as well as a center armrest with storage.

There are also additions on the inside.

Other standard features also remain the same such as its multi-reflector halogen headlights, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather-wrapped steering wheel, fabric seats, and automatic climate control.

And as this is an aesthetics package, it still gets the same 1.2-liter Inline 3-cylinder MIVEC gasoline engine that produces 78 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT.

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is priced at Php 10,000 more than the GLS.

The previous Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Black Series was limited to just 150 units. We do not know if that is still the case for now but it’s priced at Php 909,000 or Php 10,000 more than the GLS variant.
