VinFast VF 7 launches in PH at 2024 EV Summit next week
VinFast Philippines is set to expand its lineup once again as it announces the launch of the VF 7 compact crossover at the upcoming 2024 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS).
The VF 7 was among the models that were previewed by the Vietnamese automaker when they launched here in the Philippines earlier this year. And while information is still limited, there are some things that we already know so keep reading.
According to information provided during its preview, the VF 7 will be available in two variants—S and S Plus. Pricing is still unknown as of this writing.
The main difference between the two involves their powertrains where the former gets a single electric motor making 177 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque with an estimated driving range of 375 kilometers, while the latter gets a dual electric motor setup and AWD drivetrain making 354 horsepower and 500 Nm with an estimated range of 431 kilometers.
While we still don’t have the final specifications, we can expect it to have features such as LED exterior lighting, heated side mirrors, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heads-up display, and leather seats.
The S Plus will get additions of a power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, ventilated driver’s seat, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and centering assist, and front collision warning, among others.
With less than a week until its launch on the first day of the 2024 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, we won’t have to wait too long to get all the information about this new electric crossover. The 2024 PEVS is happening on October 24-26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
