Isuzu tops PH truck market for 24th consecutive year
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) continues to lead the local truck market as it retained its number one position in terms of sales for the 24th consecutive year.
For 2023, IPC was able to sell the most number of units in three different truck segments—CAT III, IV, and V, with a total sales of 4,838 units which translates to a 43% share of the market, based on a report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA).
Broken down per segment, IPC sold a total of 3,034 units in the Category III light-duty truck segment, 1,407 units in the Category IV medium-duty truck segment, and 397 units in the Category V heavy-duty truck segment.
“Maintaining our leadership position in the truck segment for 24 consecutive years is a testament to our dedication to delivering not just quality commercial vehicles, but also comprehensive business solutions,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita. “Our customers’ satisfaction and trust are at the core of what we do, together with our dealer network we are committed to continuing our tradition of excellence in the years to come,” he added.
