The 2024 season of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippine Cup is about to come to a close as its final leg is all set to happen this coming November 9 (Saturday) at the Clark International Speedway in Clark Freeport, Pampanga.

As with previous legs of this year’s season, the final race weekend of the country’s largest one-make race (OMR) series, utilizing the market’s bestselling Toyota Vios in OMR form, will feature Sprint Races for the Novice, Promotional, Sporting, and Super Sporting Classes

Racers will be awarded points based on their finishing order with the highest scoring racer at the end of all three race weekends to be declared the season winner.

Concluding the day will be the season’s final Endurance Race where racers in all classes will put their skills to the test in a 1.5-hour circuit race. Points from the endurance race are added to the overall tally of scores.

Between the Sprint and Endurance Races, owners of GR performance cars who are car club members will get the opportunity to take their vehicles out for an exclusive track experience. Local fans of the Japanese automaker’s Gazoo Racing lineup of performance cars can take in the sight and sound of these super cars running on the track mid-afternoon.

Race weekend 3 is usually the most intense.

A drifting exhibition will also be performed by professional drifters using the GR86. A few lucky spectators may also get the chance to experience the exhibition themselves as a passenger, or even hot laps around the track with the GR Yaris or GR Supra.
