The Kia EV9 ‘ADVNTR’ is your go anywhere EV
Battery electric vehicles aren’t exactly the most established yet when it comes to the off-roading scene with very few options. In fact, most of them are still concept vehicles and Kia now has their own.
Say hello to the Kia EV9 ADVNTR Concept which was revealed at the 2024 SEMA show in Las Vegas. This concept is essentially an off-road ready version of the three-row electric crossover, done through modifications to make it more capable.
It definitely looks ready for adventure with its redesigned front fascia which features a more rugged bumper with matte plastics and integrated recovery hooks, as well as a yellow light bar across. The wheel arches and rocker panels are also now finished in matte, while the rear bumper also gets recovery hooks.
It also gets a 3-inch lift for increased ground clearance, matched with special wheels wrapped in meaty all-terrain tires. A custom roof rack also adds practicality, designed to hold your usual luggage, or even a roof-mounted tent.
Kia did not make any mention of the interior or powertrain so we’re expecting it to remain the same as the standard EV9 in those areas of responsibility.
Do you think Kia should put the EV9 ADVNTR into production, especially with the growing popularity of adventurous off-road vehicles?
