Hyundai Motor PH expands presence with new facilities in Puerto Princesa, Palawan
Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) is marking the return of the Korean automaker in the southernmost province of Luzon, Palawan, with the opening of a new sales facility, and the groundbreaking of a new full service dealership.
Now owned and operated by Auto Artist, Inc. (AAI), the new Hyundai Palawan’s sales showroom is located at the ground floor of Robinsons Puerto Princesa, in a 140.25 sqm space with enough room for a two-car display, a media wall, a lounge for private consultations, an open area with additional seating, and a brochure table and configurator wall.
“At Hyundai Motor, we strive to take care of both people and planet. We regard ourselves as more than just a car company. The reason why we find ways to continuously innovate. Whether in designing vehicles, developing campaigns or creating spaces. Our 1S outlet is a product of this. Created to help our customers acquire their dream Hyundai or to just simply have a coffee and discover what can be expected when they become a Hyundai owner,” said Mr. Dongwook Lee, President of HMPH.
Also on the same day was the groundbreaking of a new dealership facility in the city. Set to open in the third quarter of 2024, Hyundai Palawan is part of the brand’s new expansion target of 46 dealerships.
“Our vision for this dealership goes beyond the physical structure that will soon rise from this very spot. In today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape, we understand that our valued customers deserve more than just a place to purchase vehicles,” says Mr. Dennis Tan, President of AAI. “Today also reflects our commitment to progress and growth. It is a testament to the development and economic vitality of our city, as more global brands choose to invest in our community, creating jobs and stimulating economic activity. This speaks volumes about the potential and promise that our province holds. And we are thankful that Hyundai recognizes the beauty of Palawan, not just in its landscapes but in the spirit of its people”.
