Honda has a new logo for its future EVs

Honda is going all out with its future in the world of electrification as it unveils two new EV concepts, as well as a new H mark logo exclusively for its next generation EV models.

This was presented by the Japanese automaker at the 2024 Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2024) in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, and shows what we can expect from the brand in the coming years.

With the new H mark, Honda seems to have looked at its past to create its future. Honda’s current H mark logo dates back all the way to 1981. With its new generation EVs, the company designed a new H mark, which they say symbolizes two outstretched hands and represents the company’s  commitment to expand the possibilities of mobility and continue to meet the needs of its customers.

And while certainly looking modern, the new H mark logo also highly resembles Honda’s logos from 1961 to 1981. Again, looking back at its past.

The new H mark will be applied on future Honda EV models, including the Honda 0 Series.

Honda 0 Series

To be wearing that new H mark, Honda unveiled two new electric vehicle concepts under the Honda 0 Series—the Saloon and Space-Hub. The former is the flagship, sitting on a dedicated EV platform and following Honda’s “M/M*1” man maximum/machine minimum packaging concept.

The Saloon also debuts advancements of new steer-by-wire and motion control management systems, and features posture control that will assist the driver in a variety of driving situations.

As for the Space-Hub, Honda says that it was developed under the theme of “augmenting people’s daily lives” with its spacious cabin and excellent visibility based on the “Thin, Light, and Wise” development approach. This allows it to offer flexible space that immediately accommodates a variety of passengers.

The first production models from the Honda 0 Series are expected to come to the North American market in 2026
