We have a separate write-up for the all-new Ford Mustang so be sure to check that out as well here. For this one, let’s focus on the Ford Bronco which will be available in the Outer Banks with Sasquatch Package variant, and will be priced at Php 4,998,000.

The Ford Bronco was first released in 1969 and has proven popular in the markets where it is available. The current generation came out in 2021 as an off-roader SUV, competing directly against the Jeep Wrangler and built on a similar platform as the popular Ford Everest midsize SUV, and its even more popular Ranger pickup truck sibling.

In terms of styling, the Bronco takes on a retro-modern look inspired by the first generation version with its boxy-shaped body and rounded headlights. The same goes on the inside which also gets retro design cues with mostly squared-off and rectangular shapes. The Philippine-spec version will be exclusively available in a five-door bodystyle, with a removable hard top and doors.

Standard equipment include LED exterior lighting, and black-painted front grille. Having the Sasquatch package, it gets 17-inch Black high gloss painted alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch Mud Terrain Tires, with Bead Lock capability, Positive-Sensitive Bilstein Shock Absorbers, High Clearance Suspension, and High Clearance Fender Flares.

Exterior color options for the Ford Bronco are Eruption Green, Race Red, Cactus Gray, Oxford White, and Shadow Black. Azure Gray is also available for an additional Php 20,000.

Inside, you’ll find a 12-inch infotainment screen making use of Ford’s SYNC4 system, paired with a Bang&Olufsen (B&O) 10-speaker audio system with subwoofer. Other stuff include a Carbonized Gray Molded-in-Color Hard Top with sound deadening headliner, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.

Powering the Ford Bronco is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower and 555 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

And being an off-road ready SUV, the Bronco gets a Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes. Standing for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, these driving modes are Normal, Eco, Sport, Mud, and Ruts.

Safety is also a priority as it also gets Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Technology, a suite of enhanced driver-assist technologies and safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking

Ford Bronco owners can also access various vehicle functions through the FordPass app from the comfort of their smartphones. The app, which is already available on the Ford Ranger and Everest, and will also be available on the all-new Mustang, includes features such as the Intelligent Oil Life Monitor, Vehicle Status, and Vehicle Location.

We are ecstatic to finally add the All-New Bronco to our stable of highly capable off-road vehicles in the country. The opportunity to be one of the first to own an icon is here and we encourage customers looking for a rugged, off-road capable vehicle to reserve the All-New Ford Bronco online starting today,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

Ford Philippines has not yet announced an exact launch date for the Ford Bronco. Given however that they’ve already started accepting reservations and all the specifications are out, it could be anytime soon.
