Jetour Auto PH previews new T2 SUV and Dashing PHEV

Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI) looks to be stirring up the pot right before the 2024 Manila International Auto Show as the automaker has just previewed two models that it will be officially launching soon. These two models will expand the reach of the brand in the market addressing the market that wants a capable off-roader and for those who are looking for an electrified and frugal crossover.

First on the list of its two new models is the Jetour T2 SUV that promises futuristic styling coupled with off-road performance. While complete specifications aren’t fully available yet, the automaker says it will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces around 250 hp and 390 Nm of torque which is mated to a 7-speed DCT

Aside from this, it comes with an XWD intelligent switch system that lets it shift on the fly from 2WD to 4WD mode. Jetour even says that the new SUV comes with seven drive modes available to let you tackle almost any terrain.

Another highlight from the upcoming Jetour T2 is that it comes with a 12-speaker Sony sound system and features a slew of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Aside from this, the SUV also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch infotainment system. According to the automaker the T2 is made with hypoallergenic materials and comes with voice command functionality.

The Chinese automaker says that the SUV will be available in four colors starting with Stone Gray, Bora Blue, Techno Black, and Gobie Biege. Pricing for the Jetour T2 will start at Php 2,498,000 for the Beyond variant and Php 2,598,000 for the Terrain variant outfitted with off-road accessories and a special matte finish to its paint job.

Aside from the T2, Jetour Philippines will also be launching the Jetour Dashing PHEV very soon. The exterior of the electrified crossover looks much like its gasoline powered counterpart with the exception of new wheels and tires along with slight tweaks to the front fascia.

As it is an electrified vehicle, the Dashing PHEV comes with a hybrid dual electric system along with an approximate maximum range of 1,000 kilometers. The new drivetrain also adds performance to the crossover as it can now go from 0 to 100 kph in just seven seconds. The new variant of the Dashing also gets a 540-degree view system along with advanced driver assistance technologies.

Pricing for the new Dashing PHEV starts at Php 1,950,000 with available colors for the vehicle being Ocean Blue and Icelandic White

These two models will fully launch at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show which is happening this coming April 4 to 7, 2024.
