Next-generation Ford Ranger to be revealed this year
The current generation Ford Ranger, known as the T6, has been around for a decade already. Despite that, Ford has given it several updates keeping it fresh up until this day. That’s about to change soon though as the popular truck’s next generation is coming very soon.
Ford has released a pair of teaser images of the next generation Ranger and has confirmed that it will be revealed before the end of this year with a launch happening in 2022. There is no mention though if that’s for the Philippines.
The teaser images show the next generation Ranger testing in its natural habitat, off-road. What we do know is that it is being co-developed with Volkswagen. The German brand is also expected to soon reveal their version, to be badged as the next generation Amarok.
Ford says that it, embracing superior off-road credentials and the company’s dynamic driving DNA, customers will rejoice at the toughest, most capable and connected Ranger pickup yet developed. At its core, the next-generation Ranger should be the ideal pickup partner for work, family and play.
Ford also says that this is and will not just be a Built Ford Tough truck, but the smartest, most capable, and most versatile Ranger yet.
For now, that’s all we have. With the Ranger being the best-selling 4×4 pick-up truck in the Philippines, it won’t be surprising if it will be revealed very soon after it makes its global reveal, or what if they do it here? Exciting for sure.
