Nissan begins exports of LHD Magnite from India

Last year, Nissan revealed a facelifted version of the Magnite subcompact crossover along with the announcement that they will begin exporting it to left-hand drive (LHD) markets. Now, it officially begins.
The Japanese automaker has announced that it has already shipped the first 2,900 units of LHD Nissan Magnites to select markets in the Latin America (LATAM) region in January 2025.
Another estimated 7,100 units were exported in a second wave in February 2025, destined for markets such as the Middle East, North Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region which could include our market.

The Magnite is manufactured at Nissan Motor India’s plant in Chennai. The subcompact crossover was first unveiled in 2020 as the brand’s entry-level SUV, and was given a refresh last year. Nissan is now targeting to export it to more than 65 markets globally.
As to whether we are included in those 65 markets, we don’t know. The only telltale sign is the fact that the RHD-only pre-facelift Magnite was previewed at last year’s Philippine International Motor Show.
